Sancho, Legado, Relampago
Sancho is a Quarter Horse mix gelding, my first horse.
Legado is my Lusitano gelding, he joined me in the summer of 2020.
And the little Lusitano, Relampago, is the newest addition.
Sancho
Born in 2012, Sancho is a Quarter Horse mix gelding.
He holds a special place in my heart. He was born on my mother's farm (Rootshof) where his mother still leads the herd to this day. She is a Tennessee Walker/Icelandic mix mare. Sancho's father was a Reining Quarter Horse making him a colorful blend. I have known Sancho since he was a foal and I have learned a great deal about horse-human communication from him.
We have also shared our first show and fair experiences together. I can rely on him blindly because of our deep and longstanding connection. Sancho reflects a person's weaknesses without filters, teaching you to work on yourself. I am grateful to have this extraordinary horse by my side forever.
Legado Pastor
Born in 2016, Legado is a Lusitano gelding.
He is also a wonderful and very special horse. I discovered him as a four-year-old in the summer of 2020 at a breeder/dealer in Belgium. We immediately had a harmonious connection and even though it wasn't planned, deep in my heart, i knew he would become part of my family. He has a unique presence and responds highly sensitively to your body language. Through him, i have been able to constantly question myself and find inner peace, allowing him to showcase his incredible potential to the fullest.
Legado has a strong character and is not always easy to handle but when you have him on your side, everyone is amazed. I am very excited and filled with anticipation for the upcoming shows and shared training sessions.
Relampago d'Areeiro
Born in 2021
Relampago is a Lusitano stallion with an excellent pedigree.
He has been with me since January 2023, and his behavior has been wonderful. I believe he is a "pretty cool dude" and enjoys everything he does. He was raised in Portugal on beautiful vast areas in a herd environment and never really had contact with humans.
When he grows older, I plan to use him as a breeding stallion. I am convinced that he will become a great sire as well as a talented dressage and show horse.
